A large following of Beef and Dairy Cattle breeders enter the show for the judging of these prime animals. Every second year there is a feature event in the Cattle which highlights a particular breed. The Hoof and Hook competition attracts a record number of entries each year, as this gives the farmer an idea how their animals rate against others both on the hoof and on the hook.
