Patrons please be advised that Plenty Road gets very busy and congested. Please allow for delays.

By Car

If you are coming from Melbourne and suburbs travel along the Hume Freeway and take the Donnybrook Road exit. This will take you all the way to Plenty Road – turn left at roundabout and then it is only 5km from here to the Showgrounds.

Public Transport

  • Bundoora Tram (86) to end of the line and then connecting bus OR
  • Catch the train to Mernda station and then get the 382 Bus.
  • Bus 384 to Kinglake stops outside Showgrounds.

Car Parking is available around the Showgrounds and if you become a Member of the Whittlesea Agricultural Society you can park in the Members car park free of charge. Otherwise Public Car Parking is by gold coin donation to local SES or CFA’s and you will be directed as you get closer to the Showgrounds on where to park.


Parking is available FREE to Members of the Whittlesea Agricultural Society, Members enter at Gate 1 McPhees Rd Whittlesea.

EFTPOS for Entry

Eftpos facilites are available at the 3 main gates. These are for payments only – no cash out.


ATM facilities are provided on the Showgrounds during the Show near the Administration Building.   Most cards are accepted.

Please note a fee is charged by ATM provider –

ATM’s are also available in the Whittlesea township.

Disability Services & Disability Parking

All pavilions at the Show are wheelchair accessible. Disabled toilets are located near most of the public toilets throughout the Showgrounds.

Parking areas include limited spaces off Yea Road. There is no disabled parking inside the actual showgrounds.

Wheelchair Hire

Limited manual wheelchairs are available for hire from the Information Booths inside the Showgrounds. Wheelchairs costs include a daily hire fee, a refundable deposit and photo identification is required.

First Aid / Medical Assistance

First Aid assistance is provided by St John Ambulance and is available at all times during public hours.

Information Booths

Information booths are located throughout the Showgrounds and are open from 9am to 4:30pm each day.

Lost Persons Centre & Lost Property

Any patrons who become lost while visiting the Show should go to the Lost Persons Centre. Lost Property will be handed in to the Secretary’s Office.

Stroller Hire

Strollers will be available for hire for daily hire fee with a refundable deposit also required. Stroller hire outlets can be found at the information booths.

Baby Change Facilities

Facilities for parents to change nappies and feed their babies will be available during Show.  Hosted by the Australian Breastfeeding Association.

Public Telephones

No Public Phones – nearest phone is in Church Street Whittlesea (10 minute walk).
